Yoga Poses for Anxiety

These yoga poses are amazing strategies to help manage and prevent anxiety. Hold each pose for 2-4 minutes. Use any towels, yoga straps, yoga blocks or additional tools to help you achieve the pose.

Remember to breathe! In through the nose and out through the mouth. To add a meditation practice to your yoga poses, when breathing in and out, focus on your internal body, movements and breathe. Identify how your lungs fill and empty, notice any pain you feel in any part of your body. By only focusing on the body, you are becoming more mindful and filtering out negative thoughts. Enjoy!
