Yoga Poses for Sleep
I’m sure everyone has suffered with the agonising struggle of not being able to sleep. A side effect of my chronic illness is insomnia – meaning that I totally understand where you are coming from! But, there’s good news – It’s also allowed me to test every sleeping method out there. My top recommendation is to spend 10-15 minutes doing gentle yoga poses before you go to sleep. It will help clear your mind, slow down your heart rate and relax you. Try holding 5 of the yoga poses for 5 minutes each. For that extra sleepy touch, play some deep sleep music and put some lavender oil on your top.
